March 2012 -- We are pleased to announce that the 12th Women's Worlds congress will be hosted by the Centre for Women's Studies at the University of Hyderabad in India in September 2014. That's all we know at this point; watch here for details next year. Thanks!
Dear Participants of WW 2011: Please take a few minutes to complete this participant evaluation form to help assess the success of WW 2011 and provide valuable feedback to organizers of future Women's Worlds.
At the end of the evaluation form, you will have the opportunity to order a copy of "The Story of Women's Worlds 2011", a multimedia DVD (for participants only) featuring highlights from this year's congress. Please complete this form by 31 August 2011 to ensure you receive your DVD/CD set by the end of September, after which we cannot guarantee shipment.
OUR SINCERE THANKS
To the nearly 2000 participants from 92 countries, the 800 presenters, the 350 volunteers, the dozens of sponsors and committee members and supportive allies, thanks for making Women's Worlds 2011 a tremendous success. By all measures, this historic congress itself broke barriers and ground by raising the bar for how women can converge in ways that value and respect the participation of under-represented communities. You all helped us do that. Together, we spent a beautiful week having moments of discovery, lively discussions, and moments of celebration. We are proud to have created the place and space for important debates to occur, for connections and conversations to flourish, and for women to network with others on common agendas.
In the coming weeks, we will wrap up WW 2011 by providing registered participants, presenters, and volunteers the opportunity to receive a multimedia 'record' of the event, a participant list, and to provide valuable feedback through an evaluation form.
Meantime, please take the time to look at all the sights and sounds of Women's Worlds 2011 through our (still growing) collection of photos, videos, and audio. So many stories of WW 2011 continue to be told in creative ways -- don't miss the chance to stay a part of it.
In solidarity and gratitude,
The WW 2011 Team
