Women's Worlds 2011 (WW 2011) will provide a rich and unique opportunity for journalists to engage with researchers from around the world with experiences ranging from academia to grassroots - all of whom are focused on women's equality and women's rights.
We are accepting applications for media credentials: please fill out this simple online form.
The Media Lounge -- Room 2130 Desmarais Building (University of Ottawa) -- will be open between 9am-5pm on 3 July, and between 8am-8pm from 4-7 July. Accredited media can pick up approved credentials here within those hours.

What media can expect at WW 2011:
- 16 world-class keynote speakers addressing four plenary sessions: Breaking Cycles, Breaking Ceilings, Breaking Barriers, Breaking Ground
- over 300 presenters conveying research and analysis on women's issue from a range of geographic and demographic perspectives
- advance and on-site support from a crack team of media concierges to track down interview targets, scope out topics of interest, and tend to the media lounge
A preliminary media kit is available online, as is the official program and congress schedule. An evolving set of presenter profiles appears in our online "Storybook". A package of media-tailored abstracts will be available by late May. The full official congress program is expected to be online by early June.
